| Satyendranath Bose did a lot of
work in quantum theory. He also worked on Planks
black body radiation law and Hypothesis of Light Quanta
which he sent to Einstein to get his opinion. Einstein
was enthusiastic about Boses letter and translated
his paper to German. Einstein extended Bose's treatment
to material particles whose number is conserved and
published several papers on this extension. Bose graduated from the University of Calcutta and later taught there. He also taught at University of Decca, but later returned to teach in Calcutta. Satyendranath Bose was also known for the Einstein-Bose Statistics.
